About RSS
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is used to automatically receive updated content without having to revisit a website.
This makes browsing the vast spaces of the interweb just a little bit easier and quicker. To read RSS feeds you will need a RSS aggregator. These are available for all platforms:
Mac OS X users can use Safari RSS, which is included with the OS. Other applications include NetNewsWire and NewsFire.
Windows users can use FeedDemon or FeedReader.
A web-based solution is Google Reader, which can be accessed on any platform.
